When I go to start my explorer I have full power to everything but when I go to turn the key over I hear one loud click coming from what seems to be the starter and then nothing, it won't start.
Sometimes while turning it over the door locks and unlocks. I know the battery is fine, I tried jumping it but it would not start. Then other times it starts fine, this only happens every once in a while, has been happening off and on for about six months. Then out of nowhere it will just start back up.
Any suggestions or advice?!
Thanks!

Sounds like a starter solenoid issue, I believe on the 94 and older the solenoid is seperate however 95 and newer the solenoid is part of the starter.

I believe you can get an aftermarket one for around a 130 bucks with the lifetime warranty. There are definitely some parts that should be replaced OEM but the starter isn't one of them.
