would 2nd gen door panels fit 1st gen?

I like the more rounded look of the 2nd gen panels, this is something ive wondered for the longest time.

Would they fit?
(4 door) (or at least the front doors)

They will fit... you'll have to widen the hole near the mirror on the door, because second generation panels have a clip that sets into the door, instead of being screwed in like the first generation.

You'll also have some wiring to do because the switches are different, although everything SHOULD still work as it should.

I myself have been meaning to do this (i have the panels and all painted and ready to go, just don't feel like doing the wiring)

I can tell you it won't work the OTHER way around....

1st Gen Panels in a 2nd Gen WILL NOT FIT.

But 2nd Gen panels in a 1st Gen SHOULD fit.
