All I can say is I sure hope Motor Trend is wrong about this being the new Bronco.

IMO, it seems more likely that it would be a redesigned Explorer:dunno: If that's the Bronco the Internet will explode LOL.

THAT LOOKS A LOT LIKE A 2011+ DODGE DURANGO...

I wouldn't want to see it in a four door, honestly.

I'd like to see it with a heavy duty automatic, mechanical 4wd, rear locker, 32-33s with zero mods, and air ride. Factory winch options, or high mount front hitch, and removable top would be great touches, and actually allow Ford to have a J**p competitive vehicle.

I've already told my sales person at my local dealer to give me a call when there ready to start taking deposits, as long as it actually does look like a Early Bronco and serious capabilities. If it actually does turn out to be another mall crawler, I'm going for a new Ranger. As far as the stick, most cars have a auto stick, and I really prefer a Auto for any off roading.

Leave the old manual for the sports cars.
I love the manual in my Focus ST, and specifically bought it because it only came with a manual transmission. :burnout:

They need to De-Wrangler the body a little, though.

That is not wrangler to me at all, in fact it is more Bronco IMO ( flares molded into bodywork)

And, it is stuck but that's beside the point-lol

edit.
The "spy photos" In my opinion are nothing to worry about. That Durango look alike is right hand drive. My bet is they are doing some real world testing for a foreign model, or possibly for the private mail delivery sector. Believe it or not there is a demand for them in the US

The ones on the wiki link looked Wrangler-esque to me. Maybe it's the size of the pics. That's plenty unique.

One article I saw said that it may be a drive train mule with a body slapped on it. At least I really hope that's the case.
