(I'm Xavier)
Hey all. Sort of new here. I drive an Emerald Green 1993 Ford Explorer (93 is the model year, it was actually assembled in November 1992, so the truck is older than me by several months). It has the Eddie Bauer package and 2-wheel drive. I bought it used last year in December and it currently has 97,000+ miles on it. I recently had the transmission and O2 sensor replaced and I use it as a daily. Here's a photo:
The photo was taken a couple weeks ago. In the time between it and now, the front left wheel center cover fell off so the center is now black.
It has 2WD, which is fine since I don't off-road, but I would have liked the Limited's AWD or a simple 4x4 just in case I ever have to drive through rough road conditions.
I plan on using this Explorer as a road car for as long as I can and whenever I get the funds, I want to replace the Cologne V6 with a Windsor V8 or a more powerful engine from a more recent Ford vehicle. I'll also be on the hunt for an XP8.
