I have a 1998 Eddie Bauer Explorer that I will be parting out. I will start with any of the "gold" Eddie Bauer outer trim pieces. Pm me with what you need and I can price it plus shipping in the CONUS for now. There are a few interior trim pieces however for the most part, almost everything inside is broken. Near locals wanting body panels like door and hatch will have to pick up and bring your old door or hatch to put back on it because for now, I'm going to use it for storage in order to empty out my '92 and 97 MM. Let me know what you need. Greg in north Alabama. PS occasionally pieces could be shipped as far as Phoenix AZ.
Note: Running Boards and Tires are local pickup in San Fernando Valley Also Note: All prices are negotiable!!!! For all I know, I way mis-set the prices!! Donor Vehicle: '98 XLT 4dr Unless otherwise noted Anyways 😀 Stock PREMIUM Headunit (Not to be confused w/ MACH!) Condition: Good, but the CD Digital Processing text has rubbed off, worked well when it came out of the vehicle Price: $60+Shipping Passenger Side Rear Cubby Thing Condition: Good, but elastic has stretched over the years Price: $10+Shipping F/R Carpet Floor Mat Set Condition: Rears- Good, Front Driver- Fair, Front Passenger- Slightly better than fair Price: $30+Shipping 3 factory crossbars Condition: Fair- has some paint drip Price- 15 each or 30 for all 3...
I am selling a kit form winch bumper for the second gen explorer. It bolts to the factory frame mounts that get some reinforcements added. You will need to provide the mounting hardware which is grade 8 bolts. You will also need to provide a 34.5" long piece of 2 inch square tube. This is a weld together kit. If ordered between now and April 5 it will be $250 shipped in the USA. After that I will have to see what steel prices are but it will be more. I have some valve cover reinforcement and support rails I made that add strength to the stock 4.0l OHV valve covers and distribute the clamping force to prevent common oil leaks. They come in raw steel and include hardware. $120 shipped to the 48 states for a pair EDIT: I am not selling VALVE COVERS, these are ONLY the rings that go around the outside to reinforce the sealing lip. I get messages all the time thinking these are the entire valve cover and they are not.
Here is everything you need to swap a manual transmission into a 02 or 03 (possibly late 01) Explorer Sport or Sport trac. I want to sell this complete and not part out as some of these items are very hard to get (like the EGR tube). All wires/plugs are good and everything was tested before removal. It all came from a 2003 sport with 88k miles. This all should make the swap completely bolt in. I will sell the "kit" minus the transmission as I'm sure someone interested might need a 4x4 trans. Swap kit $350 plus shipping($75-150) includes.... Steering column complete with 2 keys (only 1 key is programmed to computer) Shifter, boot and mount plate Engine and Trans wiring harness w/PCM Instrument cluster PRND21 delete Starter (manual...
I have a pair of overland awning mounts for the factory roof cross bars on a 1st Gen Explorer up for sale. Fits many of the basic awnings with the extruded aluminum mounting plate on the back like the ARB, Ironman, Napa, etc. $52 shipped in bare steel without hardware. (Pics show another pair of mounts I sold a few years ago, the mounts for sale are the same just not painted or with hardware)
When I built my trail explorer I made a few extra sets of these plates that are used to box-in the open space on the back of the passenger side TTB Beam. This area is highly prone to cracking and is a weak spot where the beam can bend. These plates are welded on and box in the open space making your beam much stronger. I have 3 sets of plates, $30 each set including shipping. You only need 1 set to box in the passenger beam and it is a weld-it-yourself kit..
A few years ago I acquired an A4LD pump housing cutter tool from a small town auto shop that went out of business with some other stuff. The tool has sat on a shelf since then because I don't deal with Automatic transmissions as all my Explorers are manuals. So up for sale is a tool to bore for an oversized pump housing bushing in a Ford C3 or A4LD automatic transmission. A-115 part number. I don't think these are easy to find now and it was an expensive tool. Selling for $40 + shipping, OBO! See photos for details.
