I´am looking for side stripes for a 97 explorer 4 door, anyone knows where to find it? Regards

I have searched for the last few days and haven't had any success. Does anyone know where I can find the body molding that goes around the bottom of an Explorer Eddie Bauer? My wife has an 05 XLT without molding and would really like the trim and two tone style paint of an EB. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I'm not against doing body work ie. drilling holes/painting, so no need to say if it will be a lot of work. I'm just trying to source parts. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Newby here and my 2000 XLT just got popped in the rear - the bumper is bent almost 90 degrees down, what Im looking for what years will fit this veh ? 94-01? any others? going to the boneyard this weekend with the trusty sawzall - I will probably take tha last 6" of the frame along with all the brackets and bumper. so guys what years do I need to look for? thanks ahead for the help! :exp: tried to put this in the body section - but it directed to the new members threads mods please move if you prefer

If there is one of you with experience with second generation Explorer roof Racks, please send me a message. I want to repair rust, but am afraid of breaking the rack if I take it off from the outside. Must it be unbolted from the inside (i.e. removing the headliner, Pain) or can it be done from the outside. Please advise. If someone has an exploded view of the parts, I could get a better determination also. Thanks sincerely. glad to have found this site. Rob

The paint on running board on my "01 Sport is scratched up badly. Body repair shop advised that it could not be repainted as paint would not adhere to metal and that it would need to replaced with new part which is very expensive at Ford dealership - several hundreds of dollars. Have not looked for part at junk yard, but probably would be scratched up on those as well. The other side is not bad. Any suggestions?
