Ok so I am elbow deep in my m5r1 swap completed, when I discover My driveshaft is too short. My truck is a 94 4dr 2wd. Is there a factory ds I can use? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Find one from a 2wd 4door with manual trans?

Not that I hadn't had that idea, but a truck that combo has been more than difficult to come across. Closest one on car-part is over an hour 1 way. Looking for a comparable ranger or other shaft. There just seems to be a lot of conflicting info on whether the stock shaft works. In my case it did not

Absolute worst case.. you can have a shaft made out of yours for $200ish. I think I paid $200 for mine and mine was a custom length and I upgraded the tube diameter and it came with new u-joints. I expected it to cost a bunch more from a driveshaft shop.

What is the length of the driveshaft you need? I did a M5OD swap in my aerostar van and ended up in the same situation. A lincoln mark 8 driveshaft fit my application.
