removing front drive shaft on 2000 explorer

so far I removed the 4 torex screws and the strap fasteners on the front of the drive shaft...made a chalk line along the drive shaft up to the transfer case in front...I see about 6 screws in the back of the drive shaft and I guess a boot...now do I remove the 6 bolts to remove the drixve shaft...don't know where to go from hear?
 






Hi,

Yes, remove the bolts on the back and slide it foward. Here is a picture of front and rear shaft both removed. Also, if you are removing the shaft just so you will not have AWD anymore, you may wan to search this forum as I have read if you remove the front shaft the car will roll in park.
