I second that. I also like the skid plate too.

That bumper looks really good. Super clean and aggressive

I've seen the thread but an SAS is in the works - slowly getting the parts so I'm done putting money into the IFS. Otherwise I would!

^ what axle you planning on installing? D44 or D60? Or something different :)

Just a 44 for now

I figure I'll post an updated shot of the front bumper (old pic got lost) and some shots of the phase 1 of the rear bumper (before tire carrier).

The front bumper is the weaker of the 2. The front is made from 1/8 wall steel and the mount is a piece of 1/8 plate on each side of the frame. I've lifted it using a high lift and hit it a bunch of times wheeling. Still holding strong.

I did pull the tow hooks that were bolted onto the bumper (with the mount bolts) and made 1" thick d-ring shackle mounts.

The rear bumper is 3/16 wall tubing and the mount is 3/16" thick plate but it is only on 1 side of the frame (its not boxed). The shackle mounts are 7/8" thick and are welded to the 3/16" bumper/frame mount.

All of the tubing is 2x3" square tubing...

I made this style since "my thinking" is if I can get a tire on it, I can climb it. I don't want the bumper to stop my tire from getting to an obstacle.
