I'm in the process of replacing some body to frame bushings and will be installing a 1.5 BL and will be putting 1.75 spacers on the fronts and 1.25 in the rear. I would like to get the copper 265/70r17 disco At3, what should the BS on new wheels be in order to avoid rubbing as much as possible. I want 17x8 or 17x8.5 wheels.
My explorer is a 2003 EB, which seems to have rubbing problems more than other models due to the OEM running boards.

You can run stock wheels if you want, it'll be fine. You would maybe need to trim or pin back the femder liner but it just depends. Some guys don't have any rub at all, others say the rub was very minor. However if you just want aftermarket wheels for the sake of having them you can go 4.5" backspacing and it'll give you a nice stance.
