Hello from the cold North East!
SUV's and trucks are a way of life up here in Maine. I visited SE in the past and found some good posts that helped me when working on my own. So far I've had four SUV's and an F-150 pickup. My first SUV was a '99 Mountaineer (made it 253+k miles, now gone), then two '02 Eddie Bauer Explorer's (both over 150+k miles, one gone and one going strong) and now a '15 Explorer XLT (a "newbie" at only 30k miles).
I'm a natural born gearhead and have been doing all my own wrenching and body work since my first car - '57 Ford Fairlane. I'm really hands-on and like designing and making parts and tools to work on things.
Glad to be a member and hope to post some useful stuff as time goes on.
