My Explorer is ocassionally running hot. When the engine gets warm the temperature gauge will read hot setting off the Check Gauge light and then drop a little, and then will continue to teeter back and forth above normal to hot range. After about 10 minutes it finally dropped down to normal range and stayed there. My first thought was that it was the thermostat, but it has only done this 3 times in the past 3 weeks. The past two days it hasn't done it at all and has run normal. Any suggestions????
