i saw a few explorers up at silver lake and was wonderin if they were members here, i borrowed a buddies kfx400 and was rippin it up...

whats the point of it, his tires are WAY to small for that much lift... and the way i see it, moving the mounting points of the leaf spring down doesnt count as a suspension lift because his coilovers only go up as far as the leafs...

its not completely done so ill tell ya what i know, i know i said it would be done alot earlier, but hey, 17 and workin on it mainly by myself. Type of D30- came out of a mid 90s cheeroke, i think its reverse cut Link Setup-4 link, stock uppers, lowers are about 36" Gear Ratio-4.10...

ill have more detailed pictures soon. I built the coil spring perches, lower control arms, control arm mounts and shock mounts. The springs are explorer pro comp 5.5 lift springs. The shocks are explorer pro comp 9000s. its only a dana 30, but i hope to someday make it a 44.

xplorerkid, it was finally sent... i thought i could send them but somthing in the scannin or whatever was messed up.... they wouldnt attach... i had a friend help me out so i sent on small one.... id like a digital camera but every cent goes into the explorer

uhmm im not sure with the 99s but with my 94, well when it was a 4.0, there was to hoses that went to the top of the air box. if those arent hooked up it could be sending the code

check out your shock bushings.... thats all i can think of if they are extremely wore they could go bump, or clunk for that matter

ive drove probobly 5 thousand miles with my body lift and it just gets better and better.... now i barely notice it.

hi, welcome to the site. Try the search button, it will REALLY help you out, i know you can lower it, although im more of a lifted guy, im not sure how you lower the front, perhaps just drop coils. In the rear all you need is a 3 inch block.

i have a later(like 89-90ish) dana 30 and was wondering if there was any dana 44 that could bolt right into the four link i have up front currently... id really like to just swap out the dana 30, i just dont trust it. thanks in advance

my brother has 35x12.5x15s on his blazer with a 350... today we went through the mud and i tell ya they outran everything. It had about 30 foot tall roosters and they shot back about 50, it was somthin to see, he got stuck a couple times, but its cuz his 4wd is broken

how important is it to balance your exhuast with a y pipe or x pipe... with my 351 exhoust can not be brought together very easily, so i was planning on keeping the exhaust on the outside of the frame and put cats (or maybe not), flowmasters and chrome turnouts in front of the back tires...

sorry i havent been posting much, my uncle(real close to me) just died saturday the 13th. i have been really busy with funeral and such, so i havent worked on the truck much. i want to get some pics so i can here what you guys think of my progress. it should be on the road by jan 5th or 6th.
