    My Chevy used to do that, had them pull the codes and it turned out to be a bad Mass air-flow Sensor(MAF), replaced it and its run fine ever since, but since it costs almost $75 for a remanufactured one, and over $150 for a new one, definately have the codes pulled first.

    never thought about that. when I replaced it on my s-10 I just removed the bed, 6 bolts vs 18 bolts, was a no-brainer. you'd think they'd build them with an easy access panel, make life a lot easier. Bad thing is I got over 1/2 a tank in there. oh well, I don't call it an exploder for nothing.
