    AC not blowing cold

So wife drove again this morning, car sat and I checked for drips and nothing but a/c condensation underneath and a/c pressure is in the green, not low. I too am worried that the coolant just "disappeared". Dips stick and oil cap look good, no milky residue. I'm topping off the coolant and will...

    AC not blowing cold

So we have a 15. Wife didn't complain but it's been 90+ the last few weeks and driving in it, I can tell for sure the air isn't cold. It's blowing well enough and strong so I tested the pressure and it's in the green zone. I did notice the coolant was about 3 or 4 inches below the cold level...

    Routing Through Firewall

did you take the glovebox off and see the grommet isn't there? If you trace your rear windshield washer line you can jam your hand in there and feel where it enters, I've yet to see if I can see where it comes out the firewall and was hoping I could access it after removing the box.

    Routing Through Firewall

thanks. going to make an attempt to see if the dealer will do it for me under warranty. after reading this thread I'm not sure if this is easier than I thought or harder as people have conflicting responses to accessing the grommet. that's all I need really is access to.

    Routing Through Firewall

i had a squirrel build a nest in the bay of our 15. He chewed the rear windshield washer tubing right at the grommet where it enters the firewall. My attempts to use a vac line coupled and connect from the engine just pushed the former through. Really the only way to fix this now is from the...

    Should Ford Cover This?

The car is 2 months old. The fluid is full and clear. There is no damage to the cap, so unless he unscrewed the cap, pissed in it and then tightened it back up I feel ok. I've replaced and bled brake lines on multiple cars. Not exactly a 2 minute job.

    Should Ford Cover This?

I'm sorry man, and no disrespect but you're off your rocker. Brake fluid? You're right that there could be a wire harness with some small fraying but as far as internals and major components I think I'm just fine. There's a million sensors on new cars.

    Should Ford Cover This?

yeah that was my thought. there's no way this pad should be where it is and why I believe it's partially their fault. No way would I expect coverage for rodents if it wasn't for the pad. again i'll state that is illegal. I can take the whole interior out of my car and set it on fire and they...

    Should Ford Cover This?

not going to file a claim for a $3 piece of hose. it's just hard to get to. The cotton is most definitely from the factory and not anywhere else. it was stuck good in the bumper. cup previously in the garbage :) the box is the intake and what your engine looks like with the foam cover...

    Should Ford Cover This?

New to the forums, not to forums or cars. Just picked up a limited 15 explorer in September. Only at 1.5k miles and so far so good. We have a 1k mile roadtrip coming up so I cleaned up the inside and popped the hood to check oil and inspect. Low and behold in 16 years of car ownership I...
