That elbow you talking about is located on driver side on the back of valve cover up to the back of upper intake? That's hard to see and get to, but I felt around it and felt like is was in good shape. Might have to try and take it off and check it out. Thanks

I felt around them and sprayed carb cleaner to see and got nothing. Ive noticed that my valves are pinging while giving gas going down the road. It use to not do that. I don't like.

I guess since autozone or advance won't reset my sel...cel light, I'll have to try it myself and then try to figure out why my truck idles low (600rpms), shuts off at stop lights, shuts off while turning truck around, and shuts off some mornings while warming up. It sometimes revs up to 2k or so...

The truck has been running bad and shutting off before the cel light came on and before I started messing with it and before I didn't plug the mass air meter in all the way. That's what made the cel light trigger, but the truck has been idling low, shutting off while turning around, at stop...

Yea, I might try and clean the iac again and maybe the tb, but that looked pretty good. It idles at about 600 and shuts off on us way to many times. We just want to get that fixed soon. Thanks

What could be wrong with my 4x4? 4x4 high works and the all time 4x4 works or kicks on when I stay spinning. Why won't 4x4 low work or light up? Thanks

How about the TPS, I replaced that with one that's not a factory ford brand. Is there a certain way to put them on so they will work the way they should and should I put a motorcraft one on? Thanks

Yea, it wasn't plugged in. After I made this post I looked under the hood and saw that it wasn't. What should the IAC do or what should happen if I unplug it and what shouldn't it do? I'll try it later. Should I already have it running when I unplug it or do it before I start it? Thanks

I had another code as well, I'd like to get that fixed. C1230 and I guess I can reset to cel by unhooking the battery for how long and do I unhook both cables? Thanks for the help

I got these codes....this one twice or dif codes that mean the same as these P0102 and P0113 and this one once C1230

I cleaned MAF, cleaned IAC, replaced air filter, replaced fuel filter, and I replaced the TPS but not with a factory ford one, but with a new auto parts store one.

Now after driving truck and let it sit for no longer than 3 min, it won't start unless you hold throttle to floor and then it starts. What could this be?

Now my cel light is on after checking vacuum lines and having smoke blown in intake through one of the vacuum ports. I know that didn't make the light come on.

Auto parts store brand. I heard of getting the factory replacement iac and not auto part store brand but I haven't heard anyone say anything about getting the factory ford tps replacement. Does that matter with these too?

My thing is that I don't want to replace to much and none be my problem. It's possible that it might need to be replaced and won't hurt to replace it. I like to find out for sure what's causing this then buy the part. Thanks

How about on an 02 EB Explorer with a v-6 4.0 engine? Mine idles around 600, shuts off sometimes at stop lights, revs up to 2k on some start up's, and I've cleaned iac, replaced air filter, replaced fuel filter, cleaned mass air meter, and still idles low and it also seems like it skips a beat...

Just cleaned the iac and seems to run the same. I don't have a cel light on, but maybe not a bad idea to take it to auto part store and have it tested. I just want this problem fixed.

I forgot to list this. Sometimes on start ups, the rpm shots up to 2k or so and comes straight back down.
