Nice X you got there 93 it looks nice keep us posted with pics when you do more mods on it.

Your planing on 8.5-9"s of lift and only gonna run 33"s?

Skip the body lift and the thornbirds. Just run a good AT (Thornturds are AT's) or better yet a good set of mt's 33"s, your suspension lift, and trim where needed and be done with it...

my .02 cents :D
cp

you cant delete posts other than your own, clean looking truck by the way

nice xplorer, you want a 8.5"-9" lift with 33's, man are thoughs 33's going to look small, and you forgot to put regearing, because with 33's and stock gearing your gonna get 11mpg like me lol. looks like you gotta hell of a project, you better save some money!! lol

get everything off this forum, lift wise u will save hella $$$

I wanna get really wide tires, anyone know of any companies that make wheels wider than 16x10? thats all i can seem to find

If your only gonna be able to get 33's then you should probly just use a 3" BL and Spacers and Shackles... that should give you about 4.5-5" of lift and you should be able to fit 33's under that, and that way it wont look goofy.

also will save you alot of $$$... b/c you can easily install that stuff yourself, and it will only come to about $250.

if my parents wouldnt of helped me out with the suspension lift, thats the way i would of went, its cheap and easy :D so get to lifting! if you cant install coil spacers and shackles yourself, you local 4x4 shop would probably do it and it wouldnt cost that much

and really wide as5 tires would look kinda goofy on a explorer, if i where you id get 33x13.5 ltb's

just my 2 cents

section - i looked at weld and i cant seem to find any black rims, thats what i really want is to black out my truck

15x14?!?!?! what the hell do you want a chode wheel for, man get som 15x8s or 15x10s and save yourself the rediculousness once you put them on....but whatever get what you want. and on top of that those are for a 5x5 lug pattern, you dont have that, the biggest you could get are the 15x12 (still rediculous) with the 2.5 inch backspacing. When you are through your tire will be half way out of your wheel well and look really dumb in my opinion. But hey its your truck...
