Looks good so far, my suggestion for your nerfs is try to get them off and repaint them because if you lift they're nice to have. i have my vents and speaker grills painted. pics are in my registry in my signature.

Yeah, take them out obviously, and just give them one or two coats.

Theres only one slight issue im going to have with the Vents.
The driver side ones don't come out, theyre flush with the dash. So, Im going to take it quite a bit, and hopefully get a nice even circle around them

I just wanted something simple for it now, Seeing as the headlights in it now, Almost seem like the Originals lol, They're super dim and the left one burnt out well i was going out tonight, So on my way home, I decided to hit Walmart lol

I'll defiantly post pictures as I go.

yeah you have to take the bottom part of the dash off to get to these, i haven't done that yet, but i have 5/6 done waiting on the last one, probably when i put inserts in the dash, or when i put leds in on the dash

goodluck

I've taken the dash completely apart to replace the 2 burnt out bulbs, Its really simple, I actually haven't put the bottom back on yet, Im going to do the paint tomorrow.

Is there any problem with the shutters? Can you still slide them up and down and side to side?

i don't believe they touch the slide. so it should be okay. if it does.. then it will eventually wear off. its inevitable, but i don't play with them so i'm not to sure.

I took the black spray paint i bought at wally world.
Cleaned the old ones off. And then went to spray them
The paint didnt look right at all
It was to heavy a coat, And it wasnt sticking.
So into bleach i threw them lol
Only thing i had in the house
The garage was locked with the Paint thinner

So theyre tainted black now and the grey paint is peeling off lol

After being away with the Department of National Defence for the Summer, Im back and have time to work on the X. So I did my 1600KM voyage to BC in one shot, no breaks other than to get gas. It was hurting real bad, and I still havent fixed anything, Im doing it once I find a job back home =) I broke 200, 000 KM this summer, now at 204, 676 right now I think. But now updates.

Something super simple, I changed out my Filter finally lol

And I made my Own LED's for the dome light and underdash about a week ago, so far I love them

Im going to get my camera from my ex's house today haha, I'll take some more pictures of the Vents and everything
