New to me '03 Town Car

Hi folks! I bought this Townie last January, with 195,000 miles on the clock. It recently developed a small 4R70W tranny issue, and in my online search to find the answer to the problem, I found Glacier991's excellent rebuild diary...with answers to questions I never knew I had!

So, I wanted to say thanks a ton for all the valuable info! My Townie appreciates you too. Here's a couple pics from the car lot...it's wearing my favorite color combo, maroon body with a black gut.




The day after I bought it...

It's hard to believe that it has almost 200K miles. It looks like new.

I agree, I was surprised to see how clean it is, in relation to the mileage!
I found a couple maintenance receipts that had fallen behind the glove box, showing that as of 2/09, it had 89,000 on the clock. So it looks like the next owner drove it quite a lot, while he/she owned it.

Nice car and color..Town Cars are awesome long distance cars..I still miss my 88 Town Car.
