hi there if there's anyone who could help me I was wondering if a 1984 Bronco front end would work on my 1996 Ford Explorer solid axle swap

'84 bronco would be a dana 44 ttb. Same suspension style as a 1 gen explorer only everything is bigger. It would be much more difficult then your normal SAS many have us have done

Cool thanks for the help from every one I'm going to wait to get the right Dana 44 to put in the front to do a true solid axle swap

An early Bronco D44 or FSJ axle will be the closest match to length. Nothing says you can't shorten a different axle though. Personally, I used a LP D44 from a 1988 Grand Wagoneer.
