Still not goin anywhere here.... need help from all you pros.

Shifted into 4wd and everything went into neutral. Already tried pulling off the shift motor of back of transfer case and moving spline manually thru 2wd 4wd... no help

Bled clutch .... got pressure up but still have mushy clutch pedal.... still no gears when i put it in...

Im at a loss of where to go other than pulling tranny but even if I pull it im not sure what to do ..... last time this happened removing the shift motor and moving it into 2wd manually worked.... this time nothing...

We have been down for almost 2 months now with no idea of where to go other than to the tranny shop with a pocket full of money for them to burn .. and of course my money tree just aint got much leaves on it right now...

This is my kids primary vehicle and it aint moved lately and it really sucks since we just got the lift and eveything done.... Senior year driving your moms truck to school when you got the coolest Exploder round your parts really sucks....

Any help would really be appreciated....

How old is the clutch?

was just replaced 6 months ago

It kinda sounds like somethng is wrong with the clutch. Did you have the flywheel resurfaced or whatever when you did the clutch?

What do you mean there are no gears? can you not shift the the transmission at all? or when you shift into gear nothing happens? If the t-case is inbetween gears that would cause you to go no where fast. However a mushy clutch pedal could be the slave cylinder or possibly the master cylinder.

Let me add a little to be more specific....

Slave cylinder was replaced about 500 miles ago..
Clutch was replaced about 2000 miles ago..

When you shift the tranny (manual tranny) into any gear and let out clutch ... nothing....

Bled clutch... nothing...

Problems started when transfer case was shifted into 4wd..... It obviously went into neutral instead of 4wd Lo or hi.....

Took shift motor off back of transfer case.... rotated spline around manually from 2wd to 4lo and 4hi ... didnt change anything... (last time this happened i rotated it manually and it came out of neutral and I left it in 2wd and everything was ok) this time .... nothing..... no help ... nothing enguages no matter what position i put the transfer case in....

im at a loss here....

Does it make any noise when you put it in gear? I'm at a loss as to what's wrong. Sounds like you're going to have to drop the trans and inspect the t-case, trans, clutch etc. :\ Something is def. fubar

This truck just had a brand new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, slave cylinder etc etc.... and..... they all were trashed... I didnt even think that they could be the problem this soon after they were replaced... but bad they were.... the clutch plate disintegrated... than God it did it on the pressure plate side so it didnt destroy the flywheel....

We r back on the road !!!!!!!!!!!!... and big surprise the clutch is better than it ever was... thats what you get for letting someone else work on your truck.... ALWAYS do it yourself.... we did this time....

thanks for the help to everyone who tried..

Big D
