Alright Folks. Its time to start planing the 4 Wheel Jamboree trip. This year I was thinking about us doing the same as last year. We can Hotel it again. I will stay with Issac or Aaron to lower costs. Who is up for going on the Off Road trail that we went on last year? I figure we can off road the first day of the jamboree and then go the 2nd day. I have been talking with some guys over on FTW in the Vermont Chapter and they will be attending also. We are gonna attempt to gather a head count and see if we can get a group rate on the hotel. They are also interested in going along for the trail ride. Ticket info and registering info can be found at Jamobree Info

On this website there is also a listing of nearby hotels. Lets start planning. Whos gonna make it? Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks for the info Matt
Count me in....One day for wheeling, and one day for the Jamboree worked out great last year.

Speaking of wheeling. Issac was up here this weekend and we took his rig on the trail. We took some good pictures. It was still a little wet with some soft spots. But we made it through. Are you bringin your family?

I will most likely bring Nancy and the girls (depending if they have other obligations going on @ the time). Did Isaac use 4x4 at all? Last I hear he was still running mismatched gears (4.56s Rear 3.73 up front).

yes he did. Only when we really needed it. Nothing happened thank god. Sandy had mentioned to me that she might be bringin her kids. So that will be good for them, they can hang out and etc, so the kids dont get bored.

Sup, honkies? I'll obviously be there. I'll be putting pics up when I get them uploaded. I WILL be at the trail; I WILL have full-power 4wd; I WILL have my mud tires, and i will absolutely throttle every part i can. Treading lightly, of course, as Aaron does.

See y'all there!

As far as I know my truck will at least be up there but I'm sending it with another driver during the day. I'm the president of a large car club and I have the Nopi Nationals the same weekend so I have obligations to that with my car and club. I'd already talked to Issac and I was going to run up to VT the second I got out of the Nopi show on Saturday afternoon and hang out there for the night then run back to NH for the second day of my show. So I dont know exactly how this will all work out just yet. I dont really want someone else driving my rig on the trails but I have no issues with him entering it in the mud drag at the show

I cant go now. I was told I have a wedding to go to in Maine. :( Iam kinda pissed.

Stag party ahead of time at least?? Gotta make the most out of the situation!!

What do you mean you were told you have a Wedding in Maine? You should have told her she had a Jamboree in Essex :p

ROFLMAO

Tupperware Saturday, candle party Sunday!

I love tupperware partys. Trust me, there is no way I can get outta not going to Maine unless her cousin decides not to get married. This is a huge bummer to me. But there is always Cape Cod, which I plan on going down twice and staying longer. We can also plan a VT Wheeling and camping trip this summer, which fell through last year.

Don't forget to look at the DWE thread too. It's just one Sunday in July, a relatively non-inconvenient trip for most. Maybe over an hour and a half from John and I, and 2 hours from Matt. Aaron tells me there are Class VI roads (umaintained town roads good for wheeling and legal to cross most times of the year) nearby, though I'm not sure if he checked them out as I didn't have the time to last year.

hey yall, this vermont run and jamboree sounds like a blast too me.
what kind of trails you gonna be running? what kinda gear will an explorer need to hold its own on these runs,
I got 33 mudders and might have a locker come august.
I'm really interested, let me know

They're nothing too extreme. There is, however, a tempting narrow rock passage that no one decided to go thru. Hopefully I'll also be on either 33" muds or a/t's by then, but you'll be fine. Just a fun little excursion.

Damn Matt, that totally sucks. As far as the Jamboree goes, I'll be bringing my youngest girl with me, I don't know about the oldest one, she may come up by train and meet up with Jen and I for the week after the Jamboree. I also should have my lakeside cabin reserved within a few weeks.

I'll definitely be making at least one run up to Cape Cod with you guys

anyone ,making plans for it.. I will be going up for sunday.
