It's crap. Try the search function and you'll countless threads on the subject.

Don't waste your money as other members stated. The search button will be your biggest friend.

I'll sell you one, its been used as a paperweight. Far more useful on my desk than it EVER was in the intake of any vehicle.

It, like the "Turbonator" and any "power modules" you see on ebay for $20 are designed for one thing, and one thing only: to lighten your wallet.

Wouldn't lightening your wallet in theory improve fuel mileage due to weight reduction?

No wait- you add weight with the Tornado...

Oh well. :D

Cold air

When I installed my cold air I noticed something funny in my intake line, the guy who owned it before me actually put one of those in. It's just air flowing in, and the fuel is injected at the ports, so whatever great swirl effect it makes would be negated by the intake manifold. All atomization takes place in the combustion chamber.

I'm surprised that all of these kind of companies are still in existence, and didn't get closed down due to law suits. It's just like the fuel line magnets. They charge $20 for a $2 magnet to be placed somewhere on your fuel line, and it is supposed to get you twice as many miles by magically magnetizing your fuel.

Where can I buy these fuel saving magnets, when I hit the nitrous Im using more gas than expected. Do I also put magnets on the nitrous bottle, thanks in advance

Better off unbolting the unused seats and leaving them at home, the weight saving would be a better way to economy than spending money on that rubbish mate, Ford like many makers spend millions on Research- suspect if it worked mate- they would have used it.
Afraid with an Ex like most cars, the best thing is to check you tire pressures, service it well and remove the roof rails and keep it light on the throttle and easy on the brakes.

Your kidding, right?

ummm, yea of course? but seriously where can I get these things:D

If they really did work, like the magnets, car manufacturers would use them. The swirl idea works but thats in the design of the cylinder head on EFI vehicles etc, not some piece of shrapnel in the intake disrupting the mass air flow :p:
