2WD, 4WD, AWD?
V6 or V8?

I still have to get the bolts, except nowhere around here has the right size bolts. People don't believe in metric bolts, I guess:rolleyes: My search continues.

Did you have to get longer ones? - I have to
How much lift were you going for? - 2"
How much did you actually get? - 1/2" to 1"ish
2WD, 4WD, AWD? - 4wd
V6 or V8? - V6
What are your torsion bars rated at? (SPR Setting) - That would involve getting up and walking outside, and I'm warm and comfortable here:D

Could you answer the questions? I'm trying to figure something out.

I got you covered. Let me dig up the link.

Did you have to get longer ones? Yes.
How much lift were you going for? 2''
How much did you actually get? Roughly 2''
2WD, 4WD, AWD? 4WD
V6 or V8? V6
What are your torsion bars rated at? Don't remember. I wanna say B but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the link, I suppose I will just get them from there. All of the stores around here have good selections of bolts, but none were metric.

You know, I was looking at their site, and we have one 2 miles from me. I never even knew it was there...Good to know, though:thumbsup:

You guys... come on...

You guys... come on...

I posted the info. Didn't mean to hijack.

Why, exactly, are you gathering this info? The torsion twist really isn't that hard...

I know it's not, I'm trying to get some.. statistics I guess?..
What I think is, the odds are you're going to have to get longer bolts if you have a V8 are pretty low, as where if you have a V6 with softer bars, you might have to because the bars are twisting more than the V8's stiffer bars. I probably just butchered that explanation... But do you get what I'm getting at?

Ohhh, yea I got you now. I totally forgot about the bar rating difference b/t the V6 and V8.

Carry on!

If your bolts aren't long enough, just get longer ones! If they are long enough. Good! How is this poll going to help you with your torsion bars, your bolts, and your V8?
