Beefy...Would this be covered by the standard plastic, or left out in the open? If it is going to be left out, I say don't do it. Personal opinion, but I HATE when people take off stock bumpers and put something so exposing on their rigs. If covered, that section around the hitch would look sick back there.

With the right bracket welded on to make it fit the Explorer chassis, I don't see any reason this wouldn't fit.

I love that bumper, go for it. I have to find another also as I melted mine by not getting the tailpipe back in the right place. That's the kind of bumper I was gonna look for. It's an off road look and functions better for that reason. Where did you see this one?

I'll do it! Thanks guys... The existing bumper is coming off, and the area directly under the tail lights will have to be covered by plates or something...

Keep us updated with pics

I'm hoping to get it today... we'll see :)

I would just cut the part off the bumper that goes under the tail lights and put them back on some how. Then mount your heep bumper. Just make some simple adapter brakets;) Or cut off the brackets on the heep bumper and weld the factory brackets to the heep bumper.

Sweet! So I'm going there in a few minutes, I'll see if it fits. No need to worry about that part (the two end pieces) of the bumper because it's being replaced by the new one, correct?

I'll try again tomoro morning... they have one w/o the hitch (which would be ideal since I already have the hitch)

Done. Being installed as we speak. Pics when completed... (be back)

I've been thinking about this one for some time... but everything was "made for Jeeeeps" (For the jeeeep owner that is missing a bumper, sorry :) (J/K)

So how did it go?? Is she done yet?

Pics Pics Pics. :D

almost...

Check the toggle switches... Backup lights and another (red) for fogs...

Plastic or this material wouldn't support it correctly...

and i would still have that bumper... i want the bumper and plastics to go ;)
