Hi all!

Okay, I will start with the codes:

57-AXOD Neutral pressure switch failed to open

58-VAT indicated _40/circuit open

I also got a 11/system pass(first code on self test)

I got these code definitions off the net and my chilton does not post codes 57 and 58.

Sooo, I was driving the other day when I floored the gas pedal(roadrage hehe), and this is when the problem started. It hesitated and stumbled, like it wasn't getting fuel(or bad gas). Check engine
light came on briefly. It ran great until I came to a stop. When I accelerated it gave me a stumble and then ran fine, check engine light came on briefly.

Now it will start fine but will not idle, and the engine light is on all the time. Driveability seems good except it will stall if I don't keep the pedal down a little.

I am fairly good at wrenching my ex, but this one has me scratching my head as to where to begin.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks-Markus

Well, it seems I have fixed part of the problem.

Knowing that I floored it hard, I looked at the cables on the accelerator and it seems the kickback cable was loose.

There is a self adjuster on the firewall so I pulled it to "zero".

I took it for a drive and the engine light did not come on and it now idles!

I still don't know about the other code, but it seems to be back to normal!

Thanks

P.S. I also put two zip ties on my throtle cable while I was fartin around and WOW, what a difference!
