1994 Ford Explorer XLT
Hey guys, I owned a 1994 Ford Explorer XLT, and I am having issues with an electrical problem. Everytime I put the car in reverse, there seems to be an overload. I see the lights deem out and the battery gauge fluctuate a lot. Also, the fuse for the brake lights bows out. So now I don't have any brake lights and no hazard lights and when I put it in reverse, the brake lights turn on without me pressing on the pedal. Any ideas as to what this may be? I also am looking for some good wiring diagrams. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum!

Hope these diagrams help. They're for a 1994 but may interchange with earlier models.

If you need diagrams or info for any of the connections (i.e. C416), grounds (G204), or related pages mentioned, let me know in this thread and I'll try to post it up.
