Well, it took 38 days to get, but it's finally here! I went out and washed the X, and was surprised to see it spot free. Mr. Clean lived up to its guarantee. It's a pretty big object but is simple to use. Has a special place for soap, and a filter just slips in the bottom. The only problems with this are it's all plastic, so dropping it would probably break it, and each filter is only good for 3 washes. I received 2 filters and 2 bottles of soap. In February I believe it is they will begin selling in stores, and the filters will be good for 10 washes. Not a bad buy IMO. A couple pics are below.

You finally got it. I was a little skeptical at first, but am glad to see it works.

Wow! It really works? It looked rediculous in the little infomercial, but if it really works....

Interesting, I heard the opposite, that it restricted flow too much, and the no spot spray afterwards wasn't powerful enough to replace the normal water.

The no spot part is a light mist. You spray that all throughout the vehicle after you get the soap off with the normal spray.

ill second the fact that it works i got it today and it worked perfectly. no spots!!! lol but its worth the $$$

Does it just soften the water?

Pretty much. It removes the contaminents, it's got one of those PUR filters in it. Supposedly the non-pureness of tap water leaves spots.

I've seen the commercials but forget what it claims to do... you just wash normally, then spray that on afterwards and then you dont have to worry about spots when it dries? even on the glass?

heh... having an off-white explorer means I dont have to worry about spots anywhere but the glass...:D

man im tempted to buy one of these, i never dry my car because it leaves swirl marks in my paint so i usually let it air dry. it works fine on everything except the hood, where the water doesnt run off as well.

i need to try this out...but it's gonna be another 3 mounth's till i can hook the hose up..lol

Well I bought one, I love it. My new favorite toy!

The spots are still there though. I'm sure it takes away some of the shine.
