01 to 98 5r55e Trans swap help

Swapping the transmission from a 01 sport track to a 98 explorer both are 5r55e transmissions just one difference, there's one more plug on the 01 Trans. Will this still work if I don't plug that one in

Is it at the front or rear of case?

About mid way on top of trans

It's an input speed sensor the earlier models don't use. Don't worry about it, leave it since your harness won't have a plug for it.

Now another question the 98 explorer was all wheel drive and trying to make it a regular 4x4 is that even possible?

So I got Trans bolted in everything plugged in and ready to drive it and it won't start not even kick the starter what could've caused this plz?

Adjust your shift cable at the transmission. It doesn't see your truck is in park or Neutral

Make sure MLPS is plugged in and not damaged. It has to be adjusted also.Try starting it in neutral position.
