17's on 1st Gen

Anyone have thoughts, opinions or better yet, pictures of 17's on a 4x4 1st Gen? I'm considering going to 17's to take advantage of a wide range of used takeoffs from Jeep JK's and JL's in the 285/70/17 flavor.
