1993 Eddie Bauer 2wd auto, overdrive.
Started not wanting to shift to 2nd unless you let off the throttle briefly.When I 1st checked fluid, it was overfull.
Yesterday, I drove it to my dad,s (17 mi.). Checked all vaccum lines, found no vaccum leaks. About 2 hours, later, I headed home. Juast about 2/3 of the way home, I noticed the vehicle was smoking. Drove on home, got out and found tranny fluid everywhere (exhuast,rearend,etc.).
Filled it this morning and drove up on ramps. Seems to be dripping up front somewhere. Can't pinpoint leak. What next?????
This is my son,s 1st vehicle and I would not like to invest mega$$$$$ if there is a quick solution.
