1995 Aerostar cranks but doesn't start.

Hello,
*sorry i meant it will crank but not start*

Parked my Aerostar last night, went to start this morning and it just turns over real fast? any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Do you think its a MAF sensor issue?

Got it to start; running rough.

I can smell a lot of gas. It's running really rich.
Any ideas?

I'm confused. You said that it won't crank, but then it turns over fast.

Presuming you have no CEL or indication of DTC's, I'd start with fuel pressure regulator. I'd also check for damaged or broken lines. Fuel filter problems etc stuff like that. If you have a repair manual it will provide range & method for checking PSI your system is putting out. That would help with getting a correct diagnosis.

If you have an ignition problem fuel pump should not be pumping fuel so most likely fault area has to be fuel feed system itself. Pretty much only problems fuel feed systems can have will be too much fuel or too little fuel or leaking fuel. Hope this gives you a starting point.
