I have a 1996 XLT with the JBL Premium system, with the rear tuner.
I recently purchased a new Pioneer DEH-P5200HD head unit and was going to install it, when I discovered the complexity of the JBL system. Also, the sub in the car has completely gone and I was thinking about upgrading that to two 12" Kenwoods with a Visonik amp. I understand that there are two amps in the back of the car currently, one for the woofer and one for the speakers. My question is, how in the world can I make this work? The woofer is secondary, but i have already purchased the head unit. Ive been told that this would be extremely difficult if I went with the two 12"s. I can't seem to find any good wire harnesses, and I just need assistance with everything about this damned system. ANY help, advice, tips, preferences, are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
