1st gen explorer rear power window

the rear drivers side power window, Is a cable mechanism and it can be fixed i just need to know what the lengths for the cable are (it got wrapped around and busted the cable) i just need to know how to reattach the cables to the window and the correct length. or pics would help! thanks..

just replace the regulator

I'm sorry I'm not actually answering the question. But you can buy the entire regulator that does Not have the ridiculous Hand Brake Cable mechanism. The newer regulators went backwards in technology to something reliable.
