2000 Explorer Rear Axle Breather hose

Does the 200 explorer have a breather hose? I just replaced my rear bearings and locker and couldnt find any breather hose to extend? I see an electrical connection on top of the housing that i assume is for the Antilock brakes or something.

yeah it's got one. it goes from the axle up above the spare tire.

yea on the driver side of the pumpikn i exstnded mine to come out next to the gas cap and tie raped it to the filler hose to keep it hanging up on stuff

If you are missing the hose and you are overlooking it because of that, then the fitting is nothing more than a brass fitting on top of the D/S axle tube. If you missing the tube, before you replace the hose, make a visual inspection to ensure there is no cloggage from debris or mud, clean it out and replace hose with a small clamp to secure it.
