For sale is my modified 2000 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0 v8 AWD.

I need something reliable and cheap for my kids to drive. I'm out of time and patience working on the Xploder, sadly.

Located in New Braunfels Texas (between Austin and San Antonio).

I've worked on this car on and off for many years now (since 2011), my thread can be checked out and it quite extensive, at 2000 AWD Xploder from Turbo back to NA.

A few videos...

Entire playlist of videos I did on the car...

The "bad"...

- Engine making sound around the crank/harmonic balancer area.
- AC needs vac'd and charged (all new AC components)... even with a brand new compressor it may need replaced again as it sat uncharged a while and is currently bypassed
- Clear-coat peeling on some of the gray body panels
- Some typical rock chips and such in a number of spots
- Lots of custom stuff done to the truck so that's both good and bad I suppose lol.

Location: South Texas... New Braunfels (between San Antonio and Austin).

Miles: 150k or so?

Price: $2500 (can strip it for parts and make some money if you wanted, or fix up and drive)

Hmm. I'm in west Austin. I have been looking for a V8 AWD second gen. While that noise is concerning in your build thread, if this is still for sale in the coming weeks I'd like to swing by and take a look.

Yeah, let me know... I may get around to pulling it apart and working on it some more but it's been super busy with work and other projects so it's just been sitting hooked up to a trickle charger since August when I got tired of messing with it, for now, lol. I'm in New Braunfels right by the Buc-ee's :)
