My sister has an 2002 XLS and the car has plenty of battery, but the engine will not fire off during start attempts. It turns over fast but can't get a sputter out of it. Are there cam or crank position sensors on these motors that can go bad? It had been doing this over the last few weeks and once it starts, it runs fine. Now it won't start at all. Just wondering if there is a common problem with these motors. I changed the idle air control valve about a year ago as it would stall after start. Thanks, Bill
