2002 Eddie Bauer making a humming noise front end

My 2002 eddie Bauer (42,000 miles) is making a humming noise while driving. I suspect it could be bad wheel bearings but when I turn to one side or the other to load the wheel, I cant get any noticeable difference in noise, to narrow down which side is bad. Could the noise be coming form some other issue? Tires are fairly new, Michellins.

First guess would be wheel bearing. Hard to tell which one if it won't get better/worse with a turn.

Is it 4WD? If so....when was the last time you checked/changed the fluids in the front diff?

It is 4x4. I haven't check the front differential fluid or changed it. I did change the transmission fluid.
