I want to remove the pcv valve but there are 2 coolant lines (evidently a heater) connected to the pcv valve. When removing these 2 hoses from pcv valve how do I prevent getting coolant from running out of hoses? Do I need to disconnect at other end and plug or what? It's not exactly easy getting back up against the firewall and pulling hoses out especially if disconnected and having coolant running out of them. Am I missing something simple?
Thanks

Not much coolant will come out.

Make sure engine is cold and just remove radiator cap to release any pressure. Won't leak much at all.
