Son cut cd player wiring harness after patching it back together it will not come on CD will load and eject but will not play. Any help with this problem before I kill the kid! Please

Does it play, but just has no sound? If it doesn’t play I would check for power on the switched circuit. You might have constant power, but not key on power.

It will not play cd or radio I've checked voltage and all fuses the display doesn't even come on. Unless you press load or unload cd then it will do that function but shuts off after cd is loaded. I'm thinking it could be part of the anti theft system causing the problem?

A CD player will take and eject a cd without the key on. I really think you don’t have key on power to the radio. Recheck the connections where they were cut. There should be 2 12 volt sources to the radio.

It’s not part of the anti theft system.

Check fuses. Could have blown one when wires were cut.
