2006 Explorer, AC compressor clutch only engages on max ac setting

i noticed the other day that my ac is only cold on the max ac setting. I have checked and all of the blend doors are working correctly. When not on max it blows through the correct vents but the air is not cool. the compressor clutch is only engaged when in the max setting. Has anyone had this problem? It is an 06 explorer XLT 4x4 with a 4.0 and manual ac. Thanks

usually its the blend door or the blower motor resistor iirc. most likely blend door though
