Remote key fob does not lock/unlock doors.
Fob internal battery is new. external drivers door panel buttons still work. Armrest door panel switch works.
Reprogramming remote per owners manual (doors unlocked, drivers door open, key-on X8 enters programming mode, and press lock or unlock on remote) results with locks cycling closed/open once (as per manual states) key-off exits the programming mode, but remote still not programmed. The fact that the program responds to the lock/unlock button press during program cycle suggests the remote fob is active.
Any suggestions?
