I noticed a leak on the clean air duct that goes between the airbox and the throttle body. It's a multiple plastic piece design, hot-plate welded together. I noticed oil traces right were the upper/lower shell of the duct are hot-plate welded to the convolute/bellows portion. This is abour 3-4 inches upstream of the throttle body.
That can't be good for the engine, because if oil is coming out, dirty air can also be sucked into the engine. I'm at the 30,000 mile mark.
I suggest you check that clean air duct for any traces of oil, which would indicate a leak.
