24" Tire Size

Sizes like 245/30R24, 255/25R24, 255/30R24, and maybe 265/25R24 are what should fit without rubbing. Keep in mind these size tires are $200+ each, some are in the $300-400 range. I suggest 22's, 20's, or better yet 18's to save some cash on tires, and the bill for pothole repair damage associated with riding on rubber bands.

thanks for the sizes to check on. I've had 20"s on my explorer for the last 2 seasons and didn't really like the way they looked. They looked very small even with a respectable sized tire on them. 22's didn't look like they were going to be that big of an improvement so I became curious about 24's fitting. I found a post by a member that had 24's on his explorer but he didn't give tire sizes in his post. Just a pic
