2nd row console removal

I know this has been talked about before.
I know you can remove it and i also know you are left with a big hole in the carpet.
Instead of wondering if it can be done, can anyone of you who have removed the centre console
from the second row, show me pictures of what you have done or how it looks now?
I am going to do it for sure, because we want the space to get in the back seat since the
2nd row buckets have car seats and removing and covering the hole is cheaper than buying a 2020
or newer. thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum.
Yes, going your way is cheaper than getting a 6th gen but with a 6th gen you don't have to worry about the internal water pump leaking and possibly ruining the engine.
In addition to the 'hole', there is a bracket that likely needs to be removed. I have not found any posted pictures of the finished results from those that removed the console. I did find this post but have not been able to find the mentioned company. Good luck.
