Wlcome to the site. If your ranger has a 4.0 then it will bolt right in. If the ranger has a 2.3 or 3.0 then you will need a tranny from a 4.0 probably motormounts and maybe a new radiator. The best place to find info on this is the search button. If you run a search on a username of 410fortune he has alot of experance on the 4.0 swaps and Im sure he has posted alot of useful info on it.
