90 Ranger engine swap

Will the engine from a 92 Explorer fit into a 90 Ranger?
If so, were can I get information to do the swap?

Wlcome to the site. If your ranger has a 4.0 then it will bolt right in. If the ranger has a 2.3 or 3.0 then you will need a tranny from a 4.0 probably motormounts and maybe a new radiator. The best place to find info on this is the search button. If you run a search on a username of 410fortune he has alot of experance on the 4.0 swaps and Im sure he has posted alot of useful info on it.

You'll probably have to drill new engine mount hole in the K-member if you had a 2.3L 2wd. A 4.0L radiator is a must IMO. The wiring is also going to be different I believe.
