94 Ranger with a clunk in the rear.

My 94 Ford Ranger has a "clunk" in the rear end. thought it was Trans, and then the drive shaft but now see it is in the differential. Is there any adjustments inside or does one replace the whole rear end?

You may try re-tourqing the pinion bearing
