97 Mountaineer 5.0L PCV location.

Have 97 Mountaineer with 5.0L, looking for location of PCV. There is an open barb fitting on drivers side of intake manifold, behind spark plug wires. Nothing connected, and is source of vaccum leak with engine running. Coded PO171, air/fuel is too lean or rich. Perhaps the line to the PCV is off, can not find.

welcome! the thing sucks to get at. one end of the tee kind of under the manifold should have a cap, the other should have a line to the pcv tee. there is another one back there for the brake booster. mountaineergreen took a great shot of where the pvc valve is

PCV is so awkward to reach, its a pain in the ass.
