Hello,

Has anyone mounted LED ditch lights on or right below the a-pillars? Either on the pillars themselves or on the cowl area underneath.
Got pics?

Since there is no kit specifically for Explorers, is there a universal kit or one made for another vehicle that is close enough to make fit with (very) minor modification?

Here is an example of something I was looking at but I can't tell from the pictures or measurements provided if this will fit...

The only writeup I was able to find was this one:

Unfortunately, I do not have the resources to fabricate my own mounts.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Did you end up trying this?

I'm trying to find similar but for a 3rd gen..

mine used to be a police truck so the a pillar light is drilled through to the control on the inside so it can be turned and pointed

Sorry for low quality, but I ended up using universal hood mounting brackets!

What brackets did you end up using? Any issues installing them? I have two 4 inch pods I want to mount to the A-pillars.
