Looking for someone who knows if it is possible to install an engine from a 2012 ranger into my 2003 sport trac. Ford has said the engine will "just blot right in". I have no doubts that it will fit but will all the sensors work with out major modification?
I know that this sounds silly from a money stand point but i have to point that i just picked up the engine for $800, it was removed from the ranger when the truck carrying it rolled and wrote off the ranger. The engine has never been run on the road, it is a brand new engine so i couldnt resist.
